Expiry Tracker does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on a server. Everything you enter — item names, categories, dates, notes, and photos — stays on your device.
What the app stores, and where
Local device storage only. Items, categories, and notes are saved using your device's local storage. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Photos. If you attach a photo to an item, it is referenced from your device's photo library. The photo file itself is not copied to a server or shared with any third party.
Notifications. Reminder notifications are scheduled locally on your device using your operating system's notification system. No reminder data leaves your device.
Permissions the app requests
Photo library access — only used if you choose to attach a photo to an item. You can deny this and still use the app fully; photos are optional.
Notifications — only used to remind you before an item expires. You can deny this and still use the app fully; reminders are optional.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone, because we do not have access to it in the first place — it never leaves your device.
Data deletion
Since all data is stored locally, uninstalling the app deletes all of your data. There is no account or server-side copy to separately delete.
Children's privacy
This app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, since it does not collect information at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new "last updated" date.
